Momentum’s Chief Technology Officer, Jason Alan Snyder, has joined the Rutgers University Cybersecurity Advisory Board, where he will help launch a new Cybersecurity curriculum at the Rutgers Center for Innovation.
Along with other industry leaders, Snyder will assist in elevating and supporting the new curriculum. Bringing his decades of expertise as an inventor, business strategist, technologist, and futurist, Snyder will help frame the biggest challenges facing cybersecurity today and in the future. The Rutgers Center for Innovation curriculum will be open to undergraduates, graduate students and professionals continuing their education.
“Cybersecurity is often in the headlines, however, from a brand and marketer perspective, it’s an area that has been underserved,” Snyder says. “Exploiting a brand’s security can be devastating to its long-term trust and reputation for the audiences it seeks to service. This new program at Rutgers will arm students and professionals with the information and skills necessary to combat threats and help prevent them from happening in the first place. At Momentum, we manage information security and privacy matters concerning Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and myriad compliance measures for ourselves and our clients. Alongside this world-class university, I look forward to helping develop both curricula and new protections to help guide organizations in hardening their security profile as threats evolve.”
