Momentum Worldwide has appointed Mike Kettles as its executive creative director.
Kettles joins the integrated agency from A Little Bird, an experiential agency, where he was director of creative and strategy from May 2012.
He has a background in experiential marketing, was a senior creative at Euro RSCG KLP (now Arnold KLP) from 1994. He became a senior strategist at RPM in 2009.
His work includes briefs for Toyota, Lego and Heineken, for which he won a Mobius award in 2003.
Before Kettles, Paul Slater held the position at Momentum until August 2013. He is now executive creative director at the US marketing firm Civic, part of the Seacrest Global Group.
In the role, Kettles will lead the agency’s 150-strong creative team across its London and Manchester offices. He will work across all Momentum Worldwide’s clients, including UPS, Microsoft and Coca Cola.
Luke D’Arcy, Momentum Worldwide’s new UK president, met Kettles during his time at KLP Euro RSCG. "I had no doubt who I wanted to help me role out the new vision for the UK," he said.
