Momentum, Boots & Focus Shortlisted for 2009 POPAI Awards

Momentum has been shortlisted for two Point of Purchase Advertising International Awards (POPAI) this year.

The POPAI awards are designed to acknowledge the highest standard of creative design, manufacture and implementation of Point of Purchase display in the industry. There are over 20 categories at the awards, of which Momentum have been shortlisted in the 'installation' category.

Momentum's work for health and beauty retailer Boots was first to be shortlisted. Momentum supported a major rebalance of the beauty department in Boots flagship stores through the movement, installation and merchandising of 13,000 feet of new display stands in just 2 weeks.

This was a highly complex and demanding project that required military-style planning and project management.

Next on the shortlist is Momentum's work for DIY retailer Focus which involved a major merchandising update to the bathroom category in 175 stores in only 20 days. This project required a bespoke range of merchandising and installation activity to suit each individual store.

Final winners will be announced at this year's Awards Gala on 22nd October, with a special champagne reception hosted by Momentum.
